Stress

One thing that a lot of dogs like is to chase after a boll or a stick. It’s a very good way to drain some energy from your dog. But there is one thing we have to think about when we do this. Chasing a boll is hunting a boll. Hunting is a very stressful situation. The body produce adrenalin and cortisol which makes the body faster and stronger and that is good when you hunt. But how often does a wolf hunt in the wild. A few times a week and sometimes it might take even weeks between. So for the dogs to hunt every time we go out is not normal or healthy since the dog then is in high stress to often. Try to hide the toy instead as an alternative game so it can search for it instead. And throw sticks and balls with your dog a few times a week.
